About Phillip Pitts
Phil has been a broker in California since 1989 and is the President and CEO of Amerimac. Phil has had an extensive background in the mortgage business and was previously president of Estates Mortgage Inc. from 1990 through 1996. As a licensed general contractor he previously owned and ran a construction company specializing in custom home construction, remodels and commercial office construction. As a graduate of the military academy he was commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in the U.S. Army, served as a police officer for the City of San Jose working in several capacities including patrol, investigations, Training unit and rode a Harley as a motor cycle officer.
Specializations are residential and multiunit financing, locating investment properties for acquisitions and limited partnerships. Phil has an extensive background in acquiring, financing and management of investment properties. Phil currently is an active owner of single family residential properties and apartment complexes in California, Oregon and Hawaii.
Educational background includes an MBA from Regis University with Honors, a BSBS degree in Finance and was a college professor of Finance at Sierra College. Phil is also currently completing the requirements to obtain his Brokers License in the State of Hawaii.
